Striper Fishing Army Ranger Striper Fishing
My name is Shane Landis. I have fished numerous places (oceans, lakes, rivers, ponds). I moved to Arkansas in 2009 because of all of the outdoor wonders available here. Soon after i moved here, I fished Lake Ouachita (stripers) and Lake Degray (Hybrid stripers) for the first time and realized how exciting it was to hook into a monster striper. Lake Ouachita has over 40,000 acres of water and Lake Degray has 13,400 acres of water.

I love a challenge when it comes to anything I do, especially fishing. I have learned tricks on how to tackle and catch the “big ones” from some of the best striper guides . I have a passion for fishing!

There is nothing like seeing the smile and excitement of a child when he/she catches their first big fish. I love nothing more than to share the experience of hauling in the catch of a lifetime with anyone and, being a disabled Army Ranger myselft, especially one of my fellow veterans.

I am currently chartering small groups of 1 or 2 people and fish from a 18 foot Lakesport center console boat. I plan in the near future to have another boat, which will be larger, and i will be able to accommodate parties of 4 to 6 people.

I hope you will contact me to book your next fishing experience of a lifetime. I fish Lake Ouachita for the big stripers and Lake Degray for the hybrid stripers.
